DanzJazz Touring Company

\As part of the DanzJazz Dance Studio's training program, we offer students to experience off-island dance conventions and competitions through our touring company. DanzJazz has represented Guam in various events, including performances and competitions abroad. Our dancers have captured audiences from The Pulse Workshop, the MOVE Competition, and West Coast Dance Explosion respectively held in Los Angeles, California and Las Vegas, Nevada in the summer of 2009. The touring company also represented the island at the Disney California Adventure Theme Park in Anaheim, California -- captivating hundreds with their award winning pieces.

In 2012, our touring company won numerous awards in both regional and national, including "The Most Entertaining" award for "Bad Boyz" and "First Overall Senior Solo" for "Say All I Need" by Edgar Lagrimas at the Movement Competition in Los Angeles, California. DanzJazz Touring Company also won "First Overall" for "Swing, 2 Cool 4 School, and Africa: Liberated" at the West Coast Dance Explosion held in Las Vegasm Nevada. Our dancers also trained at The Pulse Workshop in Los Angeles which led to one of our dancers, CJ Ngiratumerang, to receive a Pulse Scholarship. These positive experiences have brought pride and honor to the teachers, parents, and the community.
